Located at an altitude of 500 meters, in the heart of the "Ballon d'Alsace" (the national park of the "Vosges" region, one the biggest national park in France), the "Villa du Lac" (the villa of the lake) greets you with a magnificent view on the lakeside fen of the Sewen village (Haut-Rhin province, Alsace region).

Fully renovated with natural material in a country-side stylish decoration, this warmhearted house is offering 5 comfortable rooms with a view on either the lake or the forest. Beside the rooms, enjoy a warm evening at the fireplace (stoves or chimneys) of the living rooms and the dining room. For the evening dinner ("Table d'hôtes"), Mrs. RIOUAL lovingly prepares typical specialties with selected seasonal and ecological/green ingredients.

In the backyard of the villa, the GR531 footpath leads you to the top of the "Ballon d'Alsace" via the nearby forest and the Alfeld lake. You can also catch up the GR5 footpath which follows the mountain ridge through a sparse forest until the "Col des Charbonniers" (Coalman's pass).
